I was interviewed this week by the Villages Sun for my book. I meet with the columist and we discussed my book. The paper took lots of photos so I am interested to see which one makes the paper. the article is scheduled to run this Sunday in the book section of the paper. It was fun to talk to someone about my book. Here I was the author talking about my creation and explaining the story and characters. It takes a lot of work to promote your work. Florida Library Association

I was fortunate to make contact with the Florida Publisher's Association. Through them I was able to list my book for the vendors ara of the Florida Library Association Conference. I asked if maybe they might be interested in having me come and play the mountain dulcimer during the vendor show. I was invited o come and play Wednesday night during the opening festivities. Worked on my new cookbook

I have been working for awhile on my new cookbook - Recipes from my Grandfather - Executive Chef George W Weber and today I just plugged away at finishing up entering all of the recipes. I still have to edit, and proofread and add everything else to the book. Still along way to go but entering all of the recipes is one milestone I am glad to have done. Spent the day with the Grandkids

Well it is spring break time here in Florida. So we had a chance to have the grandkids come over and spend some time with us. We took them up to Steven Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs. We all had a great time. It was fun introducing them to something non-electric or non-handheld! They took the history lesson in stride and enjoyed learning about a music writer. We took them down to the Suwannee river to show them where Steven Foster got his river name from for his song. ...
